The High School Inclusion Teacher supports students with diverse learning needs within the general education classroom and through small-group pull-out instruction. This position is responsible for differentiating instruction and providing individualized academic support to help students achieve success. Experience collaborating with general education teachers, special education service providers, and families to develop and implement effective learning strategies and accommodations is essential. Responsibilities include informal/formal evaluations, monitoring student progress, writing progress reports, and ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The Inclusion Teacher also fosters a positive and respectful learning environment that promotes student engagement, independence, and social-emotional growth, while demonstrating strong communication, classroom management, and problem-solving skills.
