Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Termination of wire at components
- Troubleshooting of 480-volt 3-phase electrical distribution systems
- Troubleshooting of control systems
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment
- Upgrading of outdated systems and components
- Prioritize tasks with the supervisor
- Recommend changes, modifications, or upgrades of equipment to improve machine reliability and performance.
- Take responsibility for safe work behavior
- Properly maintain work areas and company issued property
- Maintain facility electrical systems/components
- Capable of effectively communicating with program/software providers to troubleshoot electronics and automation
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks per CMMS
- Removal and installation of motors, blowers, and various equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Reliable transportation
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- This job can be physically strenuous
- You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- You will work at heights
- You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
- You will be required to wear PPE
