Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX! The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting project teams regarding project issues, payments, etc. in a fast-paced work environment.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Maintain open communication with Project Teams regarding project issues, payments, etc.
- Provide backup for other Project Coordinators when needed.
- Review subcontracts and purchase orders for execution accuracy, post compliance as received and/or indicate which exhibits are not in compliance.
- Contract and change order updates in Textura utilizing any other related system reports.
- Analyze and process subcontractor payment applications.
- Perform proper due diligence including verification of approvals, coding and required lien releases.
- Prepare payment packets to be submitted to Accounting for both Check and ACH Transfer (Textura), including joint and partial payments.
- W-9 tracking and updates.
- Review and track subcontractor insurance.
- Track surety claims.
- Import original budgets to CMiC.
- Perform project closeout.
- Review owner billings for reasonableness and test for mathematical accuracy.
- Work with Project Team to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Research reporting inquiries and provide monthly subcontractor reporting to Project Teams.
- Accounting system and Textura pay app reconciliations reports at month end.
- Prepare and/or distribute a variety of other project reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative or accounting experience in a construction or related environment required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience using Viewpoint, CMiC or other similar construction software required.
- Experience using Textura Construction Payment Management.
