Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Pastor to join our vibrant faith community. In this vital role, you will assist the Senior Pastor and staff in leading the direction of the church.
Duties
- Assist in developing, strengthening, and leading church culture.
- Assist Senior Pastor in leading worship (blended style)
- Preach and teach in Senior Pastor's absence and 5th Sundays
- Provide pastoral direction, resourcing, and supervision for youth directors and children's ministry director
- Provide pastoral support for some church committees
- Help organize worship servants
- Lead servants to develop and coordinate church fellowship events
Requirements
- Authentic faith in Jesus Christ
- Biblical experience in the Methodist/Wesleyan tradition
- Experience building and leading team ministry
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor others and manage conflict constructively
- Excellent communications skills for written, public, and interpersonal communication
- Good listener
- Problem solver
- Creative
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
