Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, utilizing your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform treatment strategies.
- Develop and implement customized care plans that address individual needs, including discharge planning for seamless transition from clinic to home or community settings.
- Administer a variety of physical therapy techniques such as manual therapy, utilization of cutting edge modalities , and therapeutic exercises to promote healing and restore function.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across inpatient, outpatient, hospital, clinic, home health, and community care environments to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, mobility techniques, and self-care strategies to support ongoing recovery outside clinical settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments delivered in EMR systems while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development by staying current on advancements in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other specialized areas of physical therapy.
Experience
- Proven experience working in inpatient hospital settings with a focus on acute care or outpatient clinics providing physical therapy services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans tailored to diverse patient populations.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
- Familiarity with EMR systems used for documenting patient care activities efficiently and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care that fosters trust and motivation. Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
