Primary Responsibilities
- Produce finished AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks drawings. Including, but not limited to, general arrangements, sketches, mark-up’s, preliminary layouts and proposal drawings.
- Work with mechanical engineers to perform all drawing requests.
- Drawings to be of quality work, conforming to Bartell standards.
- Update marked up drawings or legacy prints (RPG requests) as required.
- Provide accurate data entry of information between D365 and point(s) of origin.
- Ensure BOM accuracy per print.
- Create Bartell part numbers as required.
- Create item masters for all new purchased components.
- Ensure standardization and quality of inputs.
Education
- High School Diploma
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks training from two-year program, technical school, or relevant certifications
- Basic understanding of drafting standards and GD&T
- Working knowledge of D365
- Experience creating 2D and 3D CAD content
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Extremely meticulous and detail oriented
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficient
- Proficient math skills: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry
