Join our dynamic team as a Short-Term Rental Cleaner (PRN/On-Call), where your energy and attention to detail will transform rental properties (airbnb's, etc.) into spotless, welcoming spaces for guests. As a key player in maintaining high standards of sanitation and comfort, you'll ensure each property is meticulously prepared for new guests, making their stay memorable from the moment they arrive. Flexibility is essential, as days vary based on guest bookings this includes weekdays and weekends. Weekends typically have a cleaning scheduled. Our schedules run on a week-by-week bases and cleanings are always done between the hours of 10:30am -3pm.
This particular job will be one location located by Penn Park in York, PA. Full address will be provided once hired. It is on bus route, possibly within walking distance, and all supplies can be kept on-site. This location typically takes 3 Hrs. to clean and needs 0-6 Hrs. of work a week.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rental properties between guest stays, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to ensure freshness and readiness.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health guidelines.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning essentials to guarantee guest comfort.
- Report and address minor maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure properties are in top condition.
- Requires constant use of stairs, ability to lift up to 30 lbs., bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods.
- Smartphone with high-speed internet access is required for scheduling, receiving checklists, and sending confirmation photos during the job.
Experience
- Reliability and interest to learn is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in residential, housekeeping, janitorial, and commercial cleaning is a plus. We are willing to train the right individual.
- Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, laundry services, and sanitation practices.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and basic safety protocols to ensure effective and safe operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work as a team or independently while managing time efficiently.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
