1. Punctuality is Professionalism

A start time of 7:00 AM means you are in your chair, clocked in, in full PPE, and ready to tackle the day. We don't do "7:00:01."

• Why? Being 5 minutes early allows your brain to settle and ensures you hear the mission-critical safety instructions for the day. It proves to your peers and leadership that you can be trusted.
• The Policy: We have a zero-tolerance culture for "drifting" in. Three strikes in 30 days, and you're off the team.

2. The Professional Image (Dress Code)

You are the authority on-site. You will wear steel-toe boots, long work pants (no holes), and your orange safety vest at all times.

• Why? Safety is #1. If you get hurt, you don't work, and you don't get a paycheck. When you look sharp and uniform, customers treat you with respect, and the "kibitzers" stay out of your way.

3. A Culture of Total Respect

• Respect for Assets: If you treat a $200k machine with negligence, you kill morale and cause downtime. We respect the gear so we can keep working.
• Respect for Peers: We don’t have to be best friends, but we will have each other's backs. Construction is hard enough without toxic attitudes.
• Respect for the Shop: This is our home base. A clean shop means we aren't digging through trash at 7:01 AM. It gets you home to your family faster.

4. Emotional Maturity

On an asphalt crew, losing your temper means losing your focus—and a lack of focus can get someone killed. We require "Pro" composure. If you can't lead yourself, you can't lead a crew. We don't do "snapping" or "screaming." We solve problems and move forward.

Non-Negotiables (Immediate Termination)

We maintain a 100% Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace (this includes weed/THC pens).

• Safety: You are responsible for the life of the person standing next to you.
• High-Trust: We don't carry "dead weight." We don't work twice as hard because you're hungover or high.
• Future-Proof: We see you as a long-term professional. Drugs and alcohol are for "C-Players" who don't care about their future.
