What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Secretary - Full Time position at Barstow Community?
Under the leadership of the Director of Med / Surg, Charge Nurse or Staff Nurse, the Unit Clerk assists the function of the unit by answering the phone, monitoring the charts, following up with order entry and greeting the public. The Unit Clerk recognizes the importance of meeting customer expectations, and demonstrates a positive attitude and efficient use of resources, and performs related duties as necessary to fulfill the customer's needs. Performs duties according to the mission, philosophy, policy and procedures of Barstow Community Hospital and patient focused care.
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Experience: Prefer one year (in the last 2 years) of experience in acute hospital or long term care setting.
Licenses and Certs: Must maintain BLS CPR.
Pay $23.00 - 26.50 per hour
Salary : $23 - $27
