Position Details:
Shift: Full Time
Hours: 12 hour shifts
Pay Range: $44.81 - 56.23 per hour
Job Summary:
- Following procedures established by the Section Heads and medical directors, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory including High Complexity Tests as defined by CLIA.
- CLS is responsible for accuracy and reporting of results of application of principles, theories and techniques, professional judgment, computer proficiency, microscopic proficiency, and good communications skills.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in the biological or chemical sciences as required for California State licensure.
- Completion of an accredited CLS program with requisite internship.
- Valid and current California CLS license.
- Must provide original/original duplicate license upon hire.
