What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Aide - Full Time - NIGHTS position at Barstow Community Hospital?
Under the leadership of the Director of Med /Surg, Charge Nurse, or Staff Nurse, the patient care assistant will take vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures for an assigned group of patients. Recognizes the importance of meeting customer expectations, and demonstrates a positive attitude and efficient use of resources, and performs related duties as necessary to fulfill the customer's needs. Performs duties according to the mission, philosophy, policy and procedures of Barstow Community Hospital and patient focused care
LICENSE OR CERT: Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of California preferred. Must maintain BLS CPR.
PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $27.00 PER HOUR
Education
Required- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Required- C-ARC-BLS
