When you join Design Group as an Architecture Department Manager, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our team and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy. What You’ll Do As a Revit-proficient Licensed Architect (RA), you will lead the architecture production team and help design advanced facilities for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and consumer products industries. Lead architectural design for industrial and manufacturing projects, serving as Architect of Record from concept through delivery Manage the production of accurate, high-quality construction documents in Revit, ensuring design excellence and code compliance Collaborate closely with clients and in-house engineering, controls, and construction teams to align on project goals and design intent Oversee permitting, bidding, and construction phases, maintaining design integrity and schedule alignment Mentor architectural staff, fostering technical development and consistent production quality Travel to client sites for field verification, coordination, and design reviews as needed What You’ll Bring 12 years of architectural experience in facilities design Proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of design documentation (plans, elevations, sections, schedules) Experience with facility types such as cleanrooms, cold storage, laboratories, and food & beverage plants preferred Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP requirements, and relevant building codes Demonstrated success leading cross-functional design teams Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required); Master’s degree preferred Licensed Architect (RA); NCARB certification preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project Our culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
