What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Professional-Residential Weekends position at BARRY L PRICE REHABILITATION CENTER?
$1,000 New Hire Bonus*
The direct care professional provides direct care and skill training to individuals in a residential setting to support daily living and social skills. The DCP provides assistance with personal care, medication administration, implementing approved treatment plans, preparing meals, attending recreational activities, exploring the community and general companionship.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school degree or GED. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred, but not required. We will train the right people!
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift and support body weight of any program individual with the assistance of another employee.
- Valid Driver's License, good driving record and a willingness to use agency vehicle in the course of employment.
MAP Certification will be required within the first 6 months of hire.

HOURS AVAILABLE: Evenings- 3:00pm to 11:00pm and Overnights 11:00pm to 9:00am; Saturday and Sunday only: Day 9:00am to 3:00pm
