Our busy M/E/P department is seeking an Electrical Engineer with at least three years of experience in electrical design to work on a variety of projects. Typical projects will include: Institutional; Multi-use properties; Office buildings; Educational facilities; Tenant fit-out projects. This position could be based out of any of our offices within eastern or central PA.
We are committed to developing long-term client relationships from project inception to completion, so this position provides a broad work environment. Because you will be involved in several projects at one time, involving several team members, we need good communicators, able to multi-task, and work well with others.

Primary Responsibilities Include
- Designing electrical systems (electrical distribution, normal power, emergency power systems, lighting, and fire alarm systems).
- Designing low voltage systems (security systems, telecommunications/data systems, closed circuit television systems, and access control systems).
- Knowledge of Building Codes, National Electric Code and National Fire Protection Association Standards.
- Preforming existing site surveys and condition assessments.
- Adhering to design standards.
- Preparing reports and specifications.
- Client and project management.
- Interoffice travel and travel to project sites, as needed.
- Bachelor of Science in Architectural or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in related electrical engineering work.
- PE or EIT strongly preferred
- Strong AutoCAD and Revit MEP skills.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge and Understanding of LEED and Green Building practices (LEED certification is a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communications
