Job Summary
The responsibilities of an Account Executive include acquisition of new customers by prospecting, cold calling, and selling our products and services as well as growing and maintaining an assigned base of customers. Working with customers, deriving program needs, and designing solutions that include Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity Solutions, Cloud, Networking, VoIP systems, UCaaS, and Contact Centers solutions. In order to achieve this goal, the Account Executive is expected to develop and execute on a comprehensive sales plan that includes achievement of key performance indicators such as prospecting activity, new appointment results, size and quality of pipeline, proposal volume, and new revenue sold.
Responsibilities:
· Prospect, develop & close qualified leads and opportunities.
· Achieve and exceed individual quota.
· Identify and properly qualify business opportunities and develop selling strategies.
· Prepare formal quotes/proposals and present them to decision makers within customer organizations while managing all steps of the selling process.
· Navigate complex decision-making processes to identify and overcome objections.
· Document all activity on a consistent, timely, and accurate basis in a CRM system.
· Sales forecasting (monthly forecast, weekly commitment and pipeline development) is required.
· Manage relationships with customers and create short and long-term technology roadmaps; keep customers informed about product enhancements and new functionality.
· Communicate and collaborate with internal resources (engineering and management)
· Maintain Technical know-how to educate customers on the benefits of Managed Services.
· Recommend and attend relevant Technology & Networking Events.
· Willingness to travel to Customer Site as required
Qualifications,
· 2-6 years technology IT solution-based Selling.
· B2B background: IT Solutions, SAAS, CyberSecurity, Networking, Disaster Recovery and Managed Services.
· Strong virtual Presentation Skills, including conducting virtual meetings and demos
· Strong prospecting, selling, and closing skills
· Experience in selling technology services (Managed IT Services, SaaS, HaaS, Hosted Services, Professional IT / Integration Services)
· CRM Experience
· Demonstrate sales record of obtaining / exceeding quota.
· Entrepreneurial spirit a must
