POSITION TITLE: Technical Planner
REPORTING TO: Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: St. Albans, VT
About the role:
The position is responsible for the maintenance project planning and scheduling, as well as, project management for equipment upgrades, expansion, rebuilds and replacements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage, analyze and monitor work requests, job requirement materials, equipment and labor, to achieve economical and efficient workflow for preventative maintenance and projects departments
- Maintain weekly maintenance schedules to support production
- Maintain log of work orders
- Perform risk analysis and determine priorities with Supervisors
- Manage, kit and schedule major annual PM’s and rebuilds for chocolate maintenance equipment
About you:
- High school diploma or GED
- Vocational school or technical college training, required
- Minimum five (5) years Manufacturing Maintenance/Planning experience, desired
- Ability to read and understand line diagrams and schematics
- Food manufacturing experience, desired
- Ability to analyze a situation and make frequent technical decisions based on specifications and electrical codes
- Excellent math and basic computer skills proficiency
- Ability to meet deadlines, problem solve and make decisions
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend and reach over and under all equipment on a concrete floor for long periods of time
- Must be able to freely move around the entire facility indoors and out
- Lift a minimum of 50 pound
- Climb stairs, over equipment and be comfortable at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces, when needed
- Flexible with scheduling and work overtime, when needed
- Exposure to excessive heat

Pay: $79,700.00 - $100,000.00 per year
