The Sales Operations Manager supports the plans and implementation of sales activities, products, and programs to select corporate accounts as the internal liaison between sales account managers, pricing, customer service and operations toward customer stakeholders. Provides direct support to Account Managers to meet the annual sales objective and align actions with various stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Customer Care, Pricing, Marketing & R&D

The Sales Operations Manager supports the plans and implementation of sales activities, products, and programs to select corporate accounts as the internal liaison between sales account managers, pricing, customer service and operations toward customer stakeholders. Provides direct support to Account Managers to meet the annual sales objective and align actions with various stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Customer Care, Pricing, Marketing & R&D
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and resolution to Customer Service for escalated issues related to customer orders, pricing, quality issues and complaints to ensure service excellence
- Assist sales managers in coordinating quotes, periodic pricing and contract bookings
- Manage the customer’s contract portfolio (closures, extensions, new item additions, volume transfers)
- Monitor the status of sales activities to identify and anticipate problematic situations
- Collaborate with the GBS Sales support team to ensure timely delivery of customer sample requests and quality documentation & new customer set up.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of contract related payment blocks
- Prepare reports & analyze statistics
- Work closely with necessary supply chain contacts to meet customer demands
- Support Sales Manager during customer visits
- Manage customer projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Collaborate with business analysts to monitor KPIs, track sales data & make data-driven commercial decisions
- Collaborate with marketing & customer insights team to identify trends, “white spaces” & areas for business growth
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 or more years of experience in a customer-facing function
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel recommended
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce a plus
- Travel requirements: 25% expected throughout the year
- Salary Range of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on factors such as experience and location, plus annual bonus and our comprehensive benefits package
