Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge. This position involves working on construction sites, operating drilling equipment, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all drilling operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to plan drilling operations and execute tasks according to project specifications.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed for transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including depth, pressure, and other relevant data.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during drilling operations and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations while conducting drilling activities.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus for transporting equipment as needed.
- Ability to operate tankers and other specialized vehicles safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
