Role & Responsibilities
Barrows is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and relationship driven Senior Account Manager to lead day-to-day client partnerships and oversee the delivery of integrated retail and commerce programs across multiple brands and categories. This role is essential in connecting brand goals with powerful in-store and digital retail execution ensuring projects are insight-led, creatively strong, and flawlessly delivered.

Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing needs from initial brief through final delivery
- Translate client goals into clear project briefs rooted in insight, brand strategy, and retail context
- Anticipate client and internal needs, proactively surfacing solutions and keeping all stakeholders aligned
- Participate in planning sessions and contribute thoughtful, insight-driven ideas to strengthen program outcomes
Creative & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage creative projects end-to-end: define scope, lead timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure strong communication throughout
- Work closely with Strategy, Creative, Design, and external partners to deliver integrated programs
- Ensure briefs and deliverables meet the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and creative quality
Operational Excellence & Project Ownership
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are tightly managed
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, including proofing work and validating accuracy across all outputs
- Proactively identify risks or roadblocks and problem-solve with minimal oversight
- Uphold operational excellence, ensuring all work is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations
Team Contribution
- Foster collaboration across teams, contributing to a positive, high-performance culture
- Help refine processes and ways of working that elevate Barrows’ overall delivery
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in a marketing agency, retailer, or digital commerce environment
- Experience managing retail, shopper, or trade activation programs
- Strong understanding of brand, retail, and shopper dynamics
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence leading client discussions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for brands and the retail environments in which they operate
- Ability to work in the office 3–4 days per week
Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $115,000*
*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience
