We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Probate Paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of probate and estate administration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service during sensitive life transitions.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with probate and estate administration matters from opening through closing
- Prepare and file probate documents with Ohio and Kentucky courts
- Draft correspondence, inventories, accountings, applications, and related pleadings
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel
- Gather and organize estate assets and financial information
- Monitor deadlines and maintain case management systems
- Coordinate appointments, hearings, and document execution
- Assist with trust administration and related estate matters
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience preferred
- 2 years of probate, estate administration, or estate planning experience preferred
- Knowledge of Ohio and Kentucky probate procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
