The Bartender / Shift Supervisor is responsible for executing efficient bar service while assisting with daily operations, team leadership, and maintaining service standards. This role combines high-volume bartending with supervisory responsibilities during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
Bartending
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately according to company standards.
- Maintain strong knowledge of tequila, whiskey, beer, wine, and cocktail offerings.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately.
- Lead front-of-house team members during assigned shifts.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain service speed, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Train and support new team members.
- Resolve operational issues and support smooth shift execution.
- Communicate effectively with managers, kitchen staff, and service teams.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product control.
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, tequila, whiskey, beer, and cocktails.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong base 23$ hourly plus tips.
