KEEP Site Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The site supervisor position is a part time seasonal position. Site Supervisor shall provide direct supervision and care for participants at K.E.E.P. After School Program. Plan and lead daily program, field trips, sports, special events, art, government, music, songs and games.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervises participants while protecting their physical, psychological and emotional health.
• Will attend all scheduled trainings and meetings as deemed necessary by the K.E.E.P. Office (Failure to attend training could result in loss of position).
• Be a positive role model through their work and leadership.
• Becomes knowledgeable and enforces all program policies and procedures.
• Prepare, plan and implement daily activities, themed days and inclement weather activities.
• Prepare group staff for the daily activities and provide instruction/direction to support staff regarding responsibilities.
• Will always display enthusiasm for all planned activities.
• Responsible for taking/recording accurate attendance throughout the camp day and is responsible for knowing the location of all campers at all times.
• Interpret and implement discipline policies in relation to camper problems and conflicts.
• Makes any necessary phone calls to parents/guardians and returning phone calls/text messages in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all parent/guardian communication and hand outs are completed in a timely manner.
• Arrives to work at scheduled time and acknowledges the danger to both the program and the children if tardiness becomes habitual, and therefore realizes that said action could result in dismissal from current position
• Will substitute for Assistant Group Leaders and Camp Counselors when needed.
• Promotes positive two-way communication and maintains sensitivity in handling individual difference relating to children, parents and co-workers.
•  Any and all duties deemed necessary by the K.E.E.P. office
   

  Hours:  August 15, 2025-END OF SCHOOL YEAR 2026, Monday-Friday when school is in session.

                  Hours:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday- 2:15-6:00pm

                                                  Wednesday- 1:30-6:00

  (Hours are subject to change daily based on the needs of the program.)

   

  Pay Rate

• $17.50-$21.00 depending on qualifications

 EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of the specific activity preferred
• Ability to teach in any given class situation
• Must possess current First Aid, CPR and AED Certification
