JOB TITLE: PM EXTENDED TIME SITE COORDINATOR K.E.E.P.
CLASSIFICATION: SEASONAL, NON-EXEMPT
SUPERVISOR: K.E.E.P. SUPERVISOR AND ASSITANT K.E.E.P. SUPERVISOR
HOURS: PM COORDINATOR 3:00PM – 6:00PM MONDAY- FRIDAY
EMPLOYMENT GRADE: 5
PAY RANGE: $17.00 - $18.50 PER HOUR
*Individual does not need to fill both roles. Applicants may apply for one or both positions.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position of the PM Extended Time site coordinator is a part time summer position only. The position is a full 9-week position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the summer ET program
- Arrives to work at scheduled time to set up the room for the ET program
- Assigns staff member to serve breakfast/snack
- Obtaining camp numbers for snack preparations
- Discusses any issues that need to be relayed to the parents with the Day Camp Coordinators/Group Leaders
- Meets AM/PM ET children at the LAC Gym entrance and directs them to circle (no day camp staff will enter the LAC Gym at this time)
- Is responsible for taking attendance for all grade levels in a timely manner
- Assigns staff members to assure that the kitchen and LAC Gym have been properly cleaned before leaving for the day
- Responsible for organizing and assigning activities in the AM/PM ET Program (i.e. Open/free art, table/floor games, movie station, bingo, blocks & Lego Stations)
- Monitors the ET Program space while walking the area and assuring that all staff are assigned a station and they are properly supervising (AM & PM)
- Responsible for proper staff to child ratios
- Responsible for completion of all paperwork assigned by office staff
- Turns all paperwork into office on time
- Responsible for making sure all entries recorded on AM & PM ET attendance and sign in/out sheets are accurate on a daily basis
- Responsible for all AM & PM ET staff signing in and out daily.
- Assures that all policies and procedures outlined in the staff manual are followed
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the specific activity preferred
- Ability to teach in any given class situation
- Must possess current First Aid, CPR and AED Certification
