Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage custodial duties across various facilities, including restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Carry out basic facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality of the environment.
- Assist with residential painting projects when required, providing support to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
- Engage in commercial cleaning activities that meet industry standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and maintaining supply levels of cleaning materials.
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
