Responsibilities
- Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision
- Accurately measure, mix, label, and package compounded medications
- Follow established compounding procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate compounding and patient documentation
- Manage inventory, medication returns, and recalls
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment
- Follow USP standards, HIPAA, safety protocols, and applicable pharmacy regulations
- Provide excellent patient service and support daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration/certification as required by state law
- CPhT preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy experience; compounding experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
