Barrington Public Schools High School Substitute Biology Teacher August 24, 2026 through October 31, 2026 Job Description The Substitute Biology Teacher is responsible for delivering biology instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include following lesson plans, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment, supervising students, facilitating classroom activities and laboratory work as appropriate, and supporting student learning and engagement. The substitute teacher is expected to uphold school policies, manage classroom behavior effectively, and communicate any significant issues or concerns to school administration. A background in biology or science education is preferred.
