Barrington Public Schools Substitute Job Description The Substitute Teacher is responsible for delivering instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include following lesson plans, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment, supervising students, facilitating classroom activities and laboratory work as appropriate, and supporting student learning and engagement.
