Predictive Maintenance Technician – Phoenix

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join our Reliability Maintenance team at Phoenix. Reporting to the Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will collect and analyze condition-monitoring data across a wide range of process equipment, helping the site catch equipment issues before they become failures.

Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data on all types of process equipment using predictive maintenance technologies.
Perform vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and additional non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methods.
Create and maintain databases for each predictive maintenance technology.
Generate and distribute condition and follow-up reports to all levels of management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven safety record required.
Excellent attendance record required.
Previous training and experience applying predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred.
Industrial maintenance skills equivalent to four (4) years as a journeyman preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred .
Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred .
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required .
Additional Preferred Qualifications
CAT II or CAT III Vibration Analysis certification.
Infrared Thermography certification.
Ultrasound (UE) certification.
Oil Analysis certification.
Rotor balancing experience.
MT/PT certification.
RDI certification.
UT Level I or II certification.
Experience with SKF Aptitude Analyst, DBX, Microlog, or similar condition monitoring platforms.
Previous mining process plant experience, including troubleshooting and inspection of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, agitators, and fans.
Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS software.

About Nevada Gold Mines
Nevada Gold Mines is a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corporation (61.5%) and Newmont Goldcorp Corporation (38.5%), combining their significant assets across Nevada to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world and realize the full potential of these mines through synergies and best-in-class operational improvements.
