What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH Catering and Shift Manager position at Barrett's Quality Eats?
Barrett’s Quality Eats is looking for a Shift Manager/Catering Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our front of house, as well as be the driving force behind our catering operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a strong shift, support a team, and solve problems. The right candidate will care deeply about hospitality, be incredibly organized, and take pride in helping the people around them become stronger professionals.
This is a hybrid position. Shift Managers should expect to spend approximately 25% of their weekly schedule working as the Manager on Duty. The remainder of the schedule may include working as a server, cashier, bartender, barista, trainer, or in another front-of-house position. In your capacity of catering manager, you will be expected to respond to and convert leads quickly, communicate with the BOH on menu's, and execute successful on and off site events. Your compensation for this role will include tips when scheduled in a tipped position. This role requires a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
The Shift Manager is accountable for leading the restaurant while serving as Manager on Duty. You’ll set expectations, give employees the direction they need to succeed, and make sure our service and operating standards are carried out consistently.

The Shift Manager reports directly to the Service Manager and Director of Hospitality.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
