We are currently looking for Laborers out of our NY locations. This position is seasonal, full‑time opportunity running primarily from May through September/October, offering 40–60 hours per week. Although the role is seasonal, your benefits remain active year‑round, ensuring continuous coverage even during the off‑season. You may also be eligible for unemployment benefits during the winter months, providing additional financial support until the next season begins. The shop/base rate for this position is $17/hour. The job rate for this position is paid according to the NYS Prevailing wage schedule (varies by county), which ranges from $33.93-$43.05 per hour.

Main Responsibilities
- General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving
- Cleaning and preparing the construction site and pavement surfaces
- Safely maintain traffic control including flagging duties
- Keep equipment and tools in good working condition
- Work in a team-oriented environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to assist the crew
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record
- Possession of valid CDL is preferred
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
- Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
- Regularly exposed to extended periods of physical activity in extreme heat
- Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
- Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, and overnight travel may be required
