We are seeking a Groundsperson to join our team at Jamesville Asphalt Plant. No experience is necessary, as we provide on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.
Compensation
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Main Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties, including cleaning and maintaining quarry grounds and equipment.
- Assist with plant operations, including loading and unloading materials.
- Perform tasks related to quarry maintenance, including fixing equipment and performing repairs.
- Assist with safety inspections and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced employees.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance.
- Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold.
