Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks under the direction of the Clinic leadership and medical provider. The Certified Medical Assistant works in tandem with the Clinic team for management of patient flow, assisting physicians with assigned procedures and taking, screening and initiating necessary telephone calls to patients. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining exam rooms, supplies and instruments necessary for use by physicians and ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment availability. The Certified Medical Assistant administers medications and injections, as ordered by physician. The Certified Medical Assistant performs all clerical duties required for maintaining complete and accurate electronic medical records. Successful candidates will have a passion for customer service excellence, teamwork and enjoy working with the public.
Schedule: Full-Time, (1.0 FTE) 40 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and Certification in Medical Assisting required.
- Three to five years related healthcare experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
