About Us: We are recruiting for a Salem client who operates a growing medical delivery service. They are expanding their team and are looking for a billing specialist. This position starts as part-time, but there is room to grow to full-time and help with dispatching drivers. They are looking for someone who thrives on details, organization and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices for delivery services.
- Key information into billing app.
- Verify delivery records, rates, and charges before billing.
- Maintain organized billing records and reports.
- Calculate individual drivers’ pay.
- Assist with scheduling and dispatching drivers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in billing, accounting, or a related role (delivery/logistics industry a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
