Residential Cleaning Technician

Job Summary

Barreto’s Cleaning Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Residential Cleaning Technician to join our team. You will provide high-quality cleaning services in clients’ homes throughout the Dayton area.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows instructions, manages their time well, and treats every customer’s home with care and respect. Previous professional cleaning experience is helpful but not required—we provide paid training.

Schedule

• Part-time position with approximately 10–30 hours per week
• Residential cleanings are scheduled Monday through Friday, generally between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Hours may vary depending on the cleaning schedule and business needs
• Some flexibility is available, but dependable availability during agreed-upon weekday hours is required

Pay and Benefits

• Starting training pay of $16.00 per hour
• Performance-based raise opportunity after completing 90 days
• Additional wage review at six months
• Annual wage reviews and raise opportunities

• Paid drive time between customer homes
• Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel
• Three paid company holidays after completing 90 days of employment: Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms
• Dust furniture, baseboards, ceiling fans, fixtures, doors, windowsills, and other surfaces
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, stairs, and upholstery as needed
• Sweep and mop hard floors using the appropriate products and methods
• Clean mirrors, interior glass, countertops, and appliance exteriors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Make beds when requested
• Follow company cleaning checklists and individual customer notes
• Properly use and care for company cleaning products, supplies, and equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management
• Work independently and as part of a cleaning team
• Complete assigned homes thoroughly and within the scheduled timeframe

• Willing to learn and follow our cleaning methods and quality standards
• Previous residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not required

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to travel to multiple customer homes
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Working smartphone with reliable service
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and remain active for several hours
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Dependable availability during agreed-upon weekday hours
