What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraeductor position at Barre Unified Union School District?
The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking Special Education Paraeducators to work with our students at Barre City Elementary & Middle School and Barre Town Middle & Elementary School.
Responsibilities for the Special Education Paraeducator will vary depending on the assignment, but typically include:
- 1:1 support and/or small group support
- Eyes-on supervision during class, transition times and lunch
- Redirection
- Data collection
- Consultation and communication with teachers and case manager
This job comes with a full benefits package. The pay rate for this position is $20 to $21 depending on experience and education.
Applicants must have a high school degree/GED and successfully complete a Paraeducator Assessment. This assessment is administered by appointment at the BUUSD Central Office.
OR
An Associate's Degree / minimum of 48 undergraduate credits.
