What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School English & Social Studies - Phoenix Program (26/27) - Anticipated position at Barre Unified Union School District?
We are seeking a dynamic and creative English and Social Studies Teacher to work with a co-teacher in our Phoenix Program. The Phoenix Program is an alternative educational pathway, prioritizing juniors and seniors, where students can learn in a smaller setting with a flexible schedule and individualized education. This may also include opportunities for credit recovery for students who did not earn credit in a course because they missed one or two standards.

Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont Educator’s License (7-12 English and Social Studies) or eligibility for Vermont licensure.
- Experience in proficiency-based instruction and assessment.
- Familiarity with Infinite Campus or willingness to learn.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
**The District is currently in negotiations for the upcoming contracts. The salary indicated in this posting is for the FY25/26 school year and will be updated as soon as negotions are concluded**
