Barre Gardens for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Marketing and Admissions to join our skilled nursing facility in Barre, Vermont. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital case managers, social workers, physicians, discharge planners, clinics, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare providers
Generate leads, identify new referral opportunities, and develop strategies to increase admissions and market share
Conduct presentations, facility tours, and outreach meetings with healthcare professionals and community partners
Collaborate with the Administrator, Nursing leadership, Business Office, and Admissions team to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to facility
Attend community networking events and outreach opportunities to promote facility services
Review clinical and financial information for referrals through electronic referral sources such as Allscripts, NaviHealth, and similar platforms
Determine whether referrals can be accepted based on clinical capabilities and payer requirements
Communicate admission decisions with hospital discharge planners and referral partners in a timely manner
Support the admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents and families
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
2 years of experience in healthcare marketing or admissions, such as Clinical Liaison, Director of Marketing, or Admissions Director
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or healthcare setting
Proven ability to increase census and develop strong referral relationships
Strong sales, networking, and communication skills
Experience reviewing clinical referrals and payer sources
Knowledge of insurance providers, reimbursement processes, and admission criteria
