The Barr-Nunn Safety Department is looking for a team member who recognizes the value of safety in transportation. The right candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced enviroment while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Our Safety Assistant must be a flexible, team-player willing to help where needed.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- Customer Service/Phone Experience
- 2 years office experience
- Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Lead on inbound safety calls
- Schedule and track pre-employment DOT physicals and drug screens
- Schedule random drug screens
- Document damaged equipment
- Maintain online fleet safety training platform
- Manage and order safety supplies
- Track and document spotted lantern fly reports
- Complete safety checklists with drivers (high value loads, etc)
- Organize the monthly newsletter (Safety)
- Assist with other safety duties as assigned
