Barr-Nunn Transportation, a premier truckload carrier in business for over 43 years, is currently seeking a Driver Recruiter to join our team in Granger, IA
This position will recruit experienced Class A CDL Drivers. The recruiter is responsible for inbound/outbound contacts for internet site leads/applications, managing database recruiter applications, and qualifying all incoming leads.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience and have a strong sense of initiative. They should be goal-oriented and possess solid communication and organization skills. They should be comfortable on the phone while also navigating between computer systems/programs and thrive in a fast-paced office environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:30PM, with a partial weekend day every 4th weekend
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone calls
- Make outbound calls on applications
- Evaluate applicant's qualifications from their applications
- Extensive use of an Applicant Tracking System
- Sell the value of being employed with Barr-Nunn vs. our competitors
- Communicate travel to orientation
- Work our referral program with drivers you have recruited to gain more hires
Education and Experience
- Sales Experience preferred
- High School Education required
- Valid driver's license
- Some College preferred
