Staff Accountant:
Fast paced accounting firm looking for an organized and driven Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our other accountants, administration staff, and partners in preparing a wide variety of tax returns and financial statements. We’re an energetic company looking for a passionate individual that fits into our unique organization.
Salary Commensurate with experience
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare tax returns, financial statements and supporting documentation and work papers according to firm policy and procedures
- Adequately manage time within the constraints of numerous deadlines
- At year end be available to prepare financial projections and tax planning advice under direction from client partner
- Occasionally be available for special financial based projects at the direction of partners
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors in Accounting Required
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Peachtree helpful
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- CPA certification or CPA candidates desired
- Strong analytical skills a must
