Position Purpose
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Brand Operations Manager to support the growing Barr Brands Marketing team. This is a tactical, hands-on role focused on enabling brand teams to execute marketing initiatives efficiently and effectively. This role will be responsible for bringing structure, consistency, and speed to how marketing work gets done - developing process frameworks, owning workflows, asset management, and leading cross-functional coordination.
What You’ll Do:
70%: Project Management
Process Management
- Define, implement, and maintain workflow process(es) for marketing efforts that impact production and operations.
- Translate brand need/desired outcome to the right project approach.
- Develop clear task checklists and ownership assignments, project management tools and tracking, etc.
- Partner closely with brand leaders and cross-functionals in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Internal Communication
- Monitor project performance and progress to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute program status reports and performance dashboards to brand teams, cross functional support teams, and leadership.
- Ensure all functions and leadership levels are aware of marketing efforts that impact production and operations.
- Support the identification, reporting and mitigation of project risks.
15%: Data Quality and Asset Management
- Provide oversight and quality checks on final data entry (BOMs, specs, etc.), documentation, uploads, etc.
- Maintain and oversee "single source of truth" locations for brand and item data, assets, images, etc.
- Develop and enforce naming conventions, tagging, and governance standard
15%: In-store Merch Management
- Responsible for the creation of product displays and off-shelf promotions. Brand leads brief and owns creative development, the brand ops manager does the rest.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to understand the opportunities, ensure retailer requirements are understood, etc.
- Define, implement, and maintain a process for creating sell-in samples, item or display mock-ups, etc.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field (i.e., Business, Engineering, Management).
- 5 years’ experience in project management, marketing operations, or brand operations.
- CPG industry experience a plus.
- Extensive project management systems and tools usage and knowledge
- Experience working with complex databases

Your Workday World:
- The role is based at the Barr Brands headquarters on the edge of Germantown, TN; the work schedule is hybrid with Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday as core (in office) days and Monday / Friday location flexible.
- You'll be working in a standard office setting where the buzz of productivity keeps the atmosphere lively.
- This role requires dynamic movement—you'll need to sit, stand, walk, reach, and occasionally stoop during your day. Regular communication (talking and hearing) is a part of the job.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 10 pounds may be needed.
- While the role is primarily in an office, there will be limited exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
- The position involves limited travel, up to 10%.
