What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Nanny position at Barone Management?
Nanny:
We are looking for a live-out nanny. The successful candidate for this position should be highly organized, enthusiastic and has experience in child care. We are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual to join our family.
The ideal candidate should have prior nanny experience, able to work well individually, must be loving, must love dogs, energetic, flexible, adaptable, able to multitask, have good judgement skills and be able to initiate tasks independently. We presently have a 2 year old son and a newborn, we also have 2 dogs.
We are looking for someone to work 40-50 hours per week 6 days a week and it must include Sundays. We can be flexible with the other day off. We need afternoon/ evening shifts as we have someone else that works until 5pm 6 days a week. Whatever schedule we agree to if a holiday falls on that day you will still be expected to work.
Because of the location of our home, the candidate must have a clean and valid drivers license and your own car. There is no public transportation close to our house so without your own vehicle we will not consider you for this position. From time to time you will be required to run local errands for the family and as the children get older take them to various play dates or activities.
A background check will be preformed before any final hiring decision is made
A uniform will be provided and must be worn during all working hours.
Responsibilities Include and not limited to and in no priority order:
- Change diapers
- assist in potty training of the toddler
- Prepare well-balanced meals.
- Feed our dogs
- Maintain a clean & orderly home at all times
- Children’s rooms and play areas clean, sanitary and tidy
- Put children’s toys and clothing away in appropriate places
- Bathe children and dogs as needed
- Keep children clean, dry and comfortable
- Manage child(ren)’s meal and nap time consistent with Parent’s desired schedule for children
- Teach, guide and collaborate with parents on child care
- Also, walking our two dogs, taking them to the park, vet appts, grooming appts.
ADDITIONAL NEEDS:
- First Aid & CPR certified (can help facilitate if needed)
- Driver License and personal vehicle necessary
