Director, Global Aviation & Marine Services
Role Overview:
As the Director, Global Aviation & Marine Services, you will be the general manager for a new Global Aviation and Marine initiative. You will be responsible for strategic planning, financial management, marketing development / execution, team leadership, operational excellence, stakeholder relations, and performance analysis. You will identify and embrace opportunities to drive customer satisfaction, scaling recurring revenue. You must be able to collaborate and easily adapt from focusing on strategic actions to being hands on during each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Aviation & Marine Global Subscription Services
- From nothing, build the global subscription service into industry leading Aviation & Marine services with highly satisfied subscribers. Driving a significant new line of recurring revenue for Baron and its partners.
Aviation & Marine Services Business Development
- Gain market share for Baron weather services (e.g., API) and increase revenue through focused Aviation & Marine market development and targeted marketing strategies
SiriusXM Partner Manager
- Manage the partner development and go-to-market strategy for the Dynon Group receiver
- Manage the SiriusXM Aviation / Marine partnership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with partners and product development teams to align product offerings with market needs
- Work with partners and customer success teams to ensure subscriber / client satisfaction and add opportunities to increase revenue
- Foster collaboration between stakeholders to create a seamless customer experience
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Leverage CRM tools and analytics to measure sales and marketing performance
- Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to the executive team on revenue trends, opportunities, and risks
- Adjust strategies, tactics, and pricing models based on data-driven feedback and market dynamics
