Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities through a variety of maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and schedules.
• Conduct inspections of buildings and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic quality.
• Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other electronic systems.
• Operate tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and supplies.
• Turn Over on units- flooring, painting etc

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS software is an asset.
• Skills in residential painting, welding, and basic electrical work are beneficial.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in maintenance work.
• Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
• Scheduling/Being on time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $500.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
