Responsibilities
- Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including lease renewals and tenant onboarding.
- Support property maintenance coordination by liaising with vendors and ensuring timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and property documentation using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite.
- Handle client communication with professionalism, addressing inquiries related to leasing, rent payments, or maintenance requests.
- Contribute to conflict management efforts by mediating tenant concerns and resolving issues in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting for properties under management.
- Participate in property inspections, facilities management tasks, and ensure compliance with local regulations including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and lease or rental agreement management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and written correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated conflict management skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Office experience combined with strong organizational skills including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
