future. Position Summary: The Baroco Corporation is seeking a
compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Health
Care Supervisor within our Day Habilitation (DH) programs. In this role,
you will oversee and coordinate nursing care for individuals we support,
ensure compliance with Massachusetts regulations (244 CMR 4.00), and
collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote health,
safety, and quality of life. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys
leadership, advocacy, and working with individuals with complex medical
and developmental needs. Key Responsibilities: ? Oversee and provide
direct and indirect nursing care for program participants ? Coordinate
medical services with Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and clinics ?
Complete nursing assessments and maintain accurate, up-to-date medical
documentation ? Supervise nursing staff and complete LPN delegations per
MA regulations ? Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and
communicate health needs to staff, families, and service coordinators ?
Administer medications and perform skilled nursing treatments (e.g.,
G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care) ? Develop and monitor individualized
health protocols, including seizure and restorative therapy plans ?
Train staff on approved medical interventions and delegable nursing
tasks ? Respond to medical emergencies, critical incidents, and
restraints as needed, completing required documentation ? Ensure
compliance with Baroco policies, OSHA standards, and fire/safety
regulations ? Advocate for appropriate programming, human rights, and
quality care ? Occasionally provide nursing coverage at other Baroco
sites Qualifications: ? Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Massachusetts (required) ? Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing
experience, preferably with similar patient population ? Valid driver?s
license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report ? Strong written and
verbal communication skills in English (bilingual skills preferred) ?
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals ?
Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and ethical practice ?
Experience With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities Preferred
Physical & Work Requirements: ? Medium physical demand (up to 40 lbs.);
may assist with lifts and transfers ? Indoor work environment with
typical program-related noise ? Ability to organize, plan, and complete
tasks independently ? Strong judgment, problem-solving, safety
awareness, communication and clinical decision-making skills Benefits: -
