The vision at Barnum Financial Group is to become the premier provider of financial services in the U.S., with a mission to positively impact as many lives as possible. We are seeking a Brand & Digital Designer to help amplify our brand(s) and engage our 300,000 clients.
This role will support our firm’s growing creative and digital needs, with a primary focus on taking ownership of building and growing our social media channels, prioritizing engagement and accelerating audience growth. In addition, the role blends hands-on design work with brand stewardship across our subsidiary brands.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media strategies and trends, a proven ability to collaborate and execute, an exceptional work ethic, a positive attitude, and the creative and strategic thinking needed to elevate every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Design
- Design and produce visual content for print and digital media, including social graphics, logo design, visual identity development, web assets, email templates, presentations, signage, photo enhancement, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all creative output aligns with brand-specific guidelines, tone, and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Translate business needs and marketing objectives into compelling, effective visual solutions.
- Manage and maintain multiple brand identities simultaneously, ensuring clarity, consistency, and high-quality execution.
- Maintain awareness of current design trends and best practices to continually elevate brand expression.
Digital & Social Media
- Build and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, brand awareness, and follower growth.
- Create and manage multiple social media calendars.
- Create, curate, and manage content across multiple social media platforms.
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content to protect brand reputation and foster a safe, positive community.
- Set up, manage, and optimize company-owned and subsidiary social media pages and profiles.
- Track social performance metrics, analyze results, and provide insights to inform ongoing content and design strategy.
- Lead the end-to-end development of social media advertising campaigns—including strategy, creative development, audience targeting, budget oversight, and ongoing performance analysis.
Website Management
- Oversee updates to the firm website, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and a positive user experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams or external partners to implement enhancements, design updates, or new features.
- Create small scale website for financial professionals and subsidiary brands.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to conceptualize, develop, and deliver design projects on time and within budget.
- Present creative ideas clearly and receive feedback with professionalism and openness.
- Maintain organized design files, asset libraries, and documentation to support team collaboration and long-term use.
- Be able to create, execute and communicate marketing plans.
- Hold yourself and others accountable to timelines and project plans.
- Create reports and present findings on key metrics.
Candidate must be proficient in the following:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD)

- Social Media management sites (ex. Sprout Social)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in digital design, marketing, or a brand-focused creative role (agency or in-house experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital design principles, typography, layout, composition, and brand systems.
- Experience managing and creating content for major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic website management.
- Exceptional attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with multiple brands or product lines is a plus.
- Strong self-management and time management skills.
