JOB GOAL: To assist in maintaining an orderly environment so that students may participate safely in school activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.High School Diploma
2.Interest in and understanding of child growth and development.
REPORTS TO: Principal
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Consider each child’s welfare and safety during recess, on the playground, and in the lunchroom.
2. Model positive behavior to promote cooperation and learning among students.
3. Communicate school rules effectively to children
4. Work cooperatively with teaching staff and other school assistants.
5. Circulate the playground or lunchroom and use problem solving strategies to prevent squabbles.
6. Assist teachers with general clerical duties.
7. Work under the direction of the principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: PER CONTRACT
SALARY: PER CONTRACT
