Beverage Cart Attendant
Summary:
To serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner, while maintaining the highest possible standard of service
Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Approaches all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Remains alert of complaints and/or unsatisfied guests and responds appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction
- To be familiar with the golf course-location of all holes, restrooms, etc.
- Maintains a constant but unobtrusive presence on the golf course
- Maintains a clean, well-organized and well stocked work cart
- Loads and unloads coolers and snacks and accurately records inventory
- Accurately rings sales up in the POS system
- Takes and fulfills food and beverage orders from guests, in a courteous and timely manner
- Gives information as needed to guests regarding all aspects of the resort
- To maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance
- Attend meetings/trainings as required
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA’s)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Excellent guest relations skills
- An eye for detail
- Physical mobility and stamina required
- Ability to follow instruction
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to work long and flexible hours, weekends and holidays as needed
Education/Experience/Certifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Duties take place out of doors and in the elements. Duties require:
- Standing and walking
- Some reaching; lifting heavy boxes and carrying ice
- Normal vision (corrected) including close and color vision, hearing and verbal communication.
- Must be able to operate a golf cart safely.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry items up to 40lbs.
