Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team and drive excellence in supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee inventory management processes, coordinate warehouse distribution activities, and ensure optimal stock levels across multiple channels. Your expertise will help streamline procurement, enhance data-driven decision-making, and improve overall inventory accuracy. Responsibilities
- Perform regular and cycle inventory counts, analyze discrepancies between physical inventory and the GSS/ERP system, and resolve inventory variances.
- Develop and execute replenishment plans based on production schedules and inventory levels.
- Communicate with both U.S. and China suppliers regarding RFQs, price comparisons, and purchase order (PO) processing.
- Track purchase orders from start to finish, resolve delivery delays, material issues, and return/replacement matters to prevent production shortages.
- Act as a communication bridge between U.S. and China teams by providing timely updates on purchasing needs and material status.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system, including item codes, lot numbers, and warehouse locations.
- Analyze inventory data and help optimize inventory levels to reduce inventory costs.
- Coordinate materials with the production department to support manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Chinese (required), including verbal and written communication.
- Experience: Experience in a U.S. manufacturing environment preferred; inventory management or purchasing experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.); ERP system experience preferred.
- Personal Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, detail-oriented, highly responsible, and capable of cross-department coordination
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
